One of the biggest visual challenges on Spider-Man: Far From Home was designing what the production team codenamed S.U.E. (Super Uber Elemental)—a massive creature composed of all four elementals. This hybrid design featured water tentacles infused with fire and electrical energy, creating a visually complex and dynamic antagonist.
Beyond S.U.E., our team was responsible for:
Drone Design: Led by Conceptual Artist Tim Ho, with over 50+ design variations explored.
Spider-Man’s Suit Battle Damage: Developing progressive stages of damage during the drone battle.
S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters Set Extensions: Designing interior extensions for the London Shard, transforming it into a high-tech operations center.
This project pushed the boundaries of VFX storytelling, blending photorealism with stylized action, while ensuring that each design seamlessly fit within the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s aesthetic.
