This was my first project with Image Engine, where I provided supportive concept design within the internal assets team, led by Barry Poon. My main contributions included creating concept art for a wide night shot of the train circling a massive split in the ice, as well as conceptual paintovers of the train racing through a frozen, deserted town and onto a lake.
One of these concepts was deemed successful enough to advance to Digital Matte Painting, and ultimately appears in the final shot—a rewarding first for me at Image Engine.
