I was tasked with art directing the full CG wide Cambodian jungle vista, which hides “Poppy Land” - the hideout of drug-lord Poppy Adams. Other designs included Elton John’s jungle amphitheatre prison, the night-for-day Kingsman headquarters (which is destroyed by a cruise missile), the liquid-gold “Golden Circle” tattoo, the damage to the bowling alley, and the Harry bullet hit. VFX Supervisor Mark Breakspear felt the wound concept was so successful, it was tracked into the plate and approved by production as a final shot. A win-win for the entire team!
