On Kingsman: The Golden Circle, I was tasked with art directing the full CG wide Cambodian jungle vista, which conceals “Poppy Land”, the secret hideout of drug-lord Poppy Adams.
Additional key designs included:
Elton John’s Jungle Amphitheater Prison – A stylized yet hostile environment.
Night-for-Day Kingsman Headquarters – Developing the destroyed HQ visuals, following its cruise missile attack.
The Golden Circle Tattoo – Creating the iconic liquid-gold tattoo effect.
Bowling Alley Destruction – Designing the damage sequences.
Harry’s Bullet Wound – Developing the wound concept, which was so successful that VFX Supervisor Mark Breakspear decided to track it directly into the final plate and is in the final shot.
This project was a dynamic blend of stylized world-building, intricate environmental design, and high-energy action, ensuring a visually striking sequel.
